Is Amelia Scott jewellery a good gift?
Yes, every piece is designed to feel personal, distinctive, and gift-worthy. All orders arrive in our signature packaging, making them perfect for birthdays, special occasions, or thoughtful everyday gifting.

Do I need to add gift wrapping?
No, all Amelia Scott pieces come beautifully packaged in our signature boxes, ready to gift as soon as they arrive.

Can I send a gift directly to someone?
Yes, you can send your order directly to the recipient. Pricing information is not included in our packaging, so it’s perfect for gifting!

What jewellery makes the best gift?
Our most-loved pieces, including our signature bow rings, star necklaces, and statement earrings are designed to be easy, thoughtful gifts that suit a range of personal styles.

Delivery & Returns

Do you offer returns?
We hope you love your new Amelia Scott piece as much as we loved creating it, however, if you are unhappy with your piece for any reason, you can return it within 14 days of receipt of your parcel. We are unable to offer exchanges. 

Earrings
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings, huggies or ear styling sets unless they are faulty. 

How do I go about creating a return?
Please contact hello@amelia-scott.com with details of your name and order number if you wish to return your order and we will send you the details to return.

How do I send my piece back?
When returning, please ensure all items are repackaged in the same way in which they arrived with you. We cannot offer refunds on pieces that arrive back to us in worn condition, damaged or with any missing parts.

We recommend returning your parcel using a Signed For/Tracked service to ensure its safe return. We cannot accept responsibility for any goods lost in transit, so please retain your tracking number in case of any issues, we are also unable to reimburse any shipping fees incurred. 

When will I get my refund?
Refunds will be processed within 8 working days of our receipt of the return. Once we have processed your refund, you will be notified via email. Refunds will only be credited to the original payment card/method. Your bank may take up to 7 working days to credit your account.

What is your jewellery made of? 
Our jewellery pieces are made of either Recycled Brass or Recycled 925 Sterling Silver, it will be listed on each individual product page under 'features'.

What is Recycled Sterling Silver?
Our Recycled 925 Sterling Silver is sourced from a mixture of previously owned jewellery, industrial byproducts, and electronic components that have been refined and re-casted into beautiful new pieces. 

What is Eco-Brass?
Eco Brass is a lead-free, environmentally friendly recycled brass alloy. 

What kind of plating do you use?
Unlike lots of fashion jewellery brands we do not use flash plating. All Amelia Scott pieces are finished with a thick micron of plating, we used three metal colours - 18k Rose Gold, 18k Gold and Rhodium.

Will your earring posts hurt my ears?
All of our earring posts and backs are crafted in Recycled 925 Sterling Silver as standard.

Do you use crystals? 
No, all of our pieces are hand finished with lab grown colourful cubic zirconia. We use fine jewellery settings across our designs (prong or bezel settings) for a luxe finish and high jewellery look.

What sizes are your rings?

Small (S) = US 6 / EU 52 / UK L
Medium (M) = US 7 / EU 54.5 / UK N
Large (L) = US 8 / EU 57 / UK P
Extra Large (XL) = US 9 / EU 59 / UK R
Extra Extra Large (XXL) = US 10 / EU 61.5 / UK T

Please note that we are working hard to expand our size offering as the brand grows.

How do I care for my new jewellery?
When not being worn we recommend keeping your jewellery pieces away from water, humidity and cosmetics, keeping them shut in a jewellery box will help to preserve their beauty.

Please remove your jewellery when sleeping, showering, exercising and do not leave your jewellery in your bathroom or anywhere they could come into contact with water. 

Do not let your jewellery come into contact with perfume or cosmetics/creams as this can cause tarnishing.

Sterling Silver jewellery pieces can slightly darken over a period of time. We recommend gently polishing them using a silver polishing cloth.

For Eco Brass pieces we recommend wiping with a soft dry cloth to shine, keep the pieces in their box when not being worn. 

What makes Amelia Scott jewellery unique?
Amelia Scott jewellery is designed in London with a focus on playful, vintage-inspired design. Each piece is created to feel like a special find - colourful, distinctive, and made to be collected, layered, and loved over time!

Is gold plated jewellery good quality?
Yes, gold plated jewellery offers the look and feel of fine jewellery at a more accessible price point. We use a thick micron of plating to ensure a high-quality finish across all of our pieces.

How long does gold plated jewellery last?
With proper care, gold plated jewellery can last for years. Keeping your pieces away from water, perfumes, and humidity will help preserve their finish and colour over time.

Will your jewellery tarnish?
Like all plated jewellery, pieces may naturally change over time depending on how they are worn and cared for. Following our care guidelines will help keep your jewellery looking its best for longer.

Can I wear Amelia Scott jewellery every day?
Our pieces are designed to be worn and enjoyed often, but we recommend removing them before showering, exercising, or sleeping to help maintain their finish.

How do I care for my hair scrunchie?
To clean pat gently with a damp cloth, and line dry, do not wring. Do not dry clean, bleach or tumble dry.

OEKO-TEX Eco Passport Certified Ink (NEP 1902) 
EN71-3:2019 

A representative sample of our cotton, faux silk and velvet fabrics have been tested and passed the requirements of EN71-3.

Our scrunchie fabrics are printed using OEKO-TEX Eco Passport certified ink. This means that they have been independently checked to ensure they do not contain chemicals that are harmful to human health.
