Delivery & Returns

Can I change my order address?
There is a short period of time after an order is placed for changes to be made to addresses. To do so, please email hello@amelia-scott.com and our team will do their very best to help.

How long will my order take to arrive?
As we are a very small team please allow up to 3 working days for your order to be processed and a further 2-5 working days for standard delivery. 

If you need your order faster please email hello@amelia-scott.com and we will do our best to accommodate. 

For EU customers orders should arrive within 14 days.

We ship tracked with Royal Mail International, customers should not need to pay additional customs charges and/or import VAT on orders under €150, excluding shipping.

For orders over €150, additional charges/customs duties may apply upon delivery.
 
Additional charges will depend on the country. Please check with your country’s customs and border control for more info on this. Amelia Scott cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred when importing items into a country.

Do you offer gift wrap?
All of our Amelia Scott Jewellery and Hair Accessories come packaged in our complimentary signature gift boxes to ensure a beautiful unboxing experience for yourself or a loved one.

If you wish to place an order with a reduced packaging option please email hello@amelia-scott.com and the team will be happy to help.

Returns
We hope you love your new Amelia Scott piece as much as we loved creating it, however, if you are unhappy with your piece for any reason, you can return it within 14 days of receipt of your parcel. We are unable to offer exchanges. 

Please contact hello@amelia-scott.com with details of your name and order number if you wish to return your order and we will send you the details to return.

When returning, please ensure all items are repackaged in the same way in which they arrived with you. We cannot offer refunds on pieces that arrive back to us in worn condition, damaged or with any missing parts.

We recommend returning your parcel using a Signed For/Tracked service to ensure its safe return. We cannot accept responsibility for any goods lost in transit, so please retain your tracking number in case of any issues, we are also unable to reimburse any shipping fees incurred. 

Earrings
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings, huggies or ear styling sets unless they are faulty. 

Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 8 working days of our receipt of the return. Once we have processed your refund, you will be notified via email. Refunds will only be credited to the original payment card/method. Your bank may take up to 7 working days to credit your account.

Jewellery 

What is your jewellery made of? 
Our jewellery pieces are made of either Eco Brass or Recycled 925 Sterling Silver, it will be listed on each individual product page under 'features'.

Our Recycled 925 Sterling Silver is sourced from a mixture of 
previously owned jewellery, industrial byproducts, and electronic components that have been refined and re-casted into beautiful new pieces. 

Eco Brass is a lead-free, environmentally friendly brass alloy. 

We use a thick micron of plating, in three colours - 18k Rose Gold, 18k Gold and Rhodium.

All of our earring posts and backs are crafted in Recycled 925 Sterling Silver as standard.

We use lab grown colourful Cubic Zirconia to embellish our sparkling styles. 

What sizes are your rings?

Small (S) = US 6 / EU 52 / UK L
Medium (M) = US 7 / EU 54.5 / UK N
Large (L) = US 8 / EU 57 / UK P
Extra Large (XL) = US 9 / EU 59 / UK R

How do I care for my new jewels?
When not being worn we recommend keeping your jewellery pieces away from water, humidity and cosmetics, keeping them shut in a jewellery box will help to preserve their beauty.

Please remove your jewellery when sleeping, showering, exercising and do not leave your jewellery in your bathroom or anywhere they could come into contact with water. 

Do not let your jewellery come into contact with perfume or cosmetics/creams as this can cause tarnishing.

Sterling Silver jewellery pieces can slightly darken over a period of time. We recommend gently polishing them using a silver polishing cloth.

For Eco Brass pieces we recommend wiping with a soft dry cloth to shine, keep the pieces in their box when not being worn. 

Scrunchies

Caring for Scrunchies 
To clean pat gently with a damp cloth, and line dry, do not wring. Do not dry clean, bleach or tumble dry.

Certification
OEKO-TEX Eco Passport Certified Ink (NEP 1902) 
EN71-3:2019 

A representative sample of both our faux silk and velvet fabrics have been tested and passed the requirements of EN71-3.

Our scrunchie fabrics are printed using OEKO-TEX Eco Passport certified ink. This means that they have been independently checked to ensure they do not contain chemicals that are harmful to human health.

Representative samples of our fabrics have been independently tested by a UKAS accredited laboratory to ensure they meet commercial standards for a wide range of uses.
